A personal request from Xanamiar to go with the previous Alexis and Crystal requests.
Here's the description;
"Arralynn, Crystals sister. Blonde hair, blue eyes, as flirty as they get, and doesn't believe in the force, despite her unintentional use of it by effecting minds of others. She chalks it up for just being flirtacious get's guy's to do as she wishes. She used to be an imperial, but broke out of that, and is now working for Talia on Crystal Shard Point. Arralynn is your typical man teaser, who has no intention of actually going far with any of them."
Since this didn't have any weapons specifics I gave her the standard blaster. 'Cause flirty only gets you so far...

Wow. In all honesty, Mercy, this is my favorite piece of yours yet. It looks amazing.

Ooh, thanks man! Yeah, I'm quite pleased with it so far, I hope the colour version does it justice. I'll post again when I get a bit more done.
shes looking very good Mercy look forward to seeing her colored
Blank slot here....
I have to agree with Asok on this one, it's looking great. Can't wait to see it coloured!
Cheers, guys!
(Xan - echo?)
That's what I get for using my phone to post :) ... it does look wonderful!
Nice colors Mercy... :) .. looks really good.
Gotcha.
I so need to get up-to date, technologically...
Anyway - colour version up, although I still like the sketch best. Something gets lost in the translation to colour, I guess. I'm still quite happy with it, though.
Ah, I see you got to the update before I managed to post.
Touche.
hehe... and I agree... I like the sketch best...
Out of curiosity, can you maybe do something with the sketch to bring her to life without adding a lot of color? .... Just curious... I like the color as well.. but the sketch is a lot more of a, "Look at me, aren't I sexy.." look to her.
Hmm. I'll have a play, but I think it may just be the way of things - the sketch has a bit more of that 'moment captured' feeling that I don't seem to be able to keep in the coloured versions as well. *sigh*
I'll post again it I come up with anything, though.
sweet... If you get to the point where you just aren't inspired anymore with it, don't worry about it. But as long as it's fun for you... keep going :)
Okay, had a bit of a play...
It's more of a colour wash now, the second version of the same is with added shading.
Thoughts?
I like both of the last two... they capture the original essense of the sketch
Although I do like the unshaded one better :)
2nd Edit... I'm getting a bit wishy washy here... I like them both .. LOL... the shaded one doesn't look right small, but looks great large...
3rd Edit... After comparing them back and forth, and asking a friend ((who is also an artist)) I definatley like the shaded one better :)
Wicked!
I flicked back and forth a bit too, and found it hard to decide but I reckon I agree with you. I've added her name down the right and tidied it up a bit with a little more highlights. I'll post a last version and if you're happy with it I'll post it to gallery.
(I love these fast ones!)
Cheers,
~ Mercy
Looks wonderful.. Thanks Mercy :)
Neat! You're very welcome, Xanamiar. This was fun!
I'm no artist but I like the fifth one. I lighter color of the outfit is better than the darker colored one.
agreed LC... but the 4th and 5th one are the same... just a few touch ups, and th name added... She looks awesome, and the lighter color is definately better... She really captured the essense that the sketch gave off.
Awesome work Mercy... Thanks again.
Picture has been used Here Thanks Mercy :)
