I like the direction you are going with it. Just two comments,
1. The heads appear to be a bit larger than they should be, most notably on the left one.
2. The center one holding the pike/staff. Her left hand shows on the pike but with her pose, it looks akward, like her arm might be broken in order to hold it that way.
1.) I would think that the flowy dress one could be a LOT larger, and perhaps more rigid. I mean if you're going for Queen Amidala EP I. look, most of what she wore that was "queenly" was also rigid. So that's my first thought.
2.) Having a fair amount of experience with a bow... if you were going to hold it behind your back your hand would be in this sort of position: Hand
Hope that helps! I love the way this one is coming along. I hope Stratos likes it.

I love what I'm seeing so far! This is so exciting! Please take the comments from the others (Eclipse, Lal-Khan, etc) into consideration but please consider the Request yours! Thanks!
I've re-done the hand, like it much more.
Drawn up the flowy dress to be a lot more interesting and wealthy looking.
Reduced the size of the faces on both the left and right.
That's looking WAY awesome! Nice work! So with that said, I'm going to be SUPER nitpicky... The staff... from where her hand is on it you basically have 2/3s of it below, and 1/3 above her hand... those ratios should be basically... exactly opposite. 1/3 of it should be below (ie not touching the ground) and the other 2/3 should be above. 50/50 would be ok too... It's not going to be "bad" any way you cut it, the image is great! but I thought I'd at least toss this out there as I think it'd be an easy fix.
Thanks for the point Eclipse - yeah I'd realised that when I changed the hand position, but it would stuff up the picture's layout if I changed the staff around. Bugger...
Ah well. Thanks for all the comments, will post a colour version when I do a bit more on it.
You know, I think the tatoos might look better as a dark blue instead of black. Just a thought. I like the colors over all, especially the "queenly" one.
I REALLY like the first pattern! Much better than the arubesh. I dunno about stratos, but thought I'd give my opinion. :-) What about something more "tribal"? Something to match her tatoos?
Liked the idea of the tribal pattern, but thought I'd try one more curly one. Also, I've dropped in a backdrop to the circle, and a bit of force-lightning to her hand.
WOW that's looking awesome! I think the lightning adds quite a bit. (What was her hand doing up anyway?) :-) my only last suggestion would be that the embroidery on the cloak doesn't need to fade (I don't think) you could just leave it totally opaque and I think it would look great. This is an awesome piece in any case. Fantastic work!
I love them all! :)
So, how can I get some hi-res files to print out to use during my game? And may I post these in my campaign's website when it's up and running? All artists get full credit (of course!) and SWAG gets kudos too!!

I like it, but I don't think I count .. :) .. Very nice job though...
I like the fact that she is fully clothed!

Mercy,
Couple things real quickly.

I think it's so awesome that you are so active and are completing requests left and right! :) Keep it up!
Cheers for all the useful suggestions, guys.

I'll get on with colouring it up now!
Lookin' great Mercy - thanks!!!

Okay, here's the first colour version. There's no detail, just blank fills. What do we think of the choices?

Cool.
Y'know - I agree with you about the tattoos. Had played with the idea for a bit, I think I'll go back to the blue as you say.
Thanks!
Okay, here's the first finished image.
I'm not sure about the pattern on the cloak, and I think I could do a bit more work on it...
Suggestions?
I've re-done the cloak decoration, added a shadow, and touched up the eyes.
I think this might be done.
Mercy,

Okay.
Third time's the charm...

I think I'm over working it, now. Bother...

Here's a print of the cloak with non-fading embroidery for consideration - I still like the fade...
Touched up the eyes again and added make-up to the left Sha'ala.
(Gosh there's a lot of pictures on this blog! I'm so retentive.)
Wow Mercy, either way really, they're both really good.
Eclipse
Cheers, darl. I'll post it in the gallery as finished.
Looks completely awesome... Nice job Mercy
