Travis, it's just a generic creature. no specific planet. It does have an explanation for the weird horns coming from it's neck. It's a genetic malfunction that caused those spikey things from one spine segment to grow extremely large. Through reproduction, this malfunction survived and later developed into burrowing tools to find food in the ground and for mating rituals.
