A short warning in advance: This is rather a series of requests than a single one.
As an animal lover I always wondered about how animals in Star Wars looked like.
Browsing through the creatures entries in Wookieepedia, I sadly found out that there are nearly none images of pets, even those, that had images at all, displayed feral specimen.
So here is the request: I would love to see any Star Wars pet, beast of burden or guard animal, that you know of or can imagine.
Just out of curiosity.. what is this request really for?... is it for a reolplaying game you are playing, or just for your own ammusement to see what an artist can come up with?
Also, The guidelines for making requests doesn't really allow for this kind of "request". It's more appropriate in the community section, if an artist wants to do something with it, then they can, and link a pic on it.
You should check Terryl Whitlatch's The Wildlife of Star Wars. It has a lot of info and images on animals of Star Wars, and has lots of entries for pets and beasts of burden and the like. A very cool book.

To answer your question, Xanamiar, it is a mixture of both. I definetly want to employ a lot of animals in my roleplaying games, but I am also curious. Star Wars authors have come up with loads of animals, still there are just a few species we know of that are kept as pets, beasts of burden or guard animals and have been depicted as such.
LoL Ryavar's thinking along the same lines I am :-p Been considering putting up a re-quest for a Bha'lir Picture (Male and Female together *Golden fur) There the animal that commonly represents Sadik & Triss and sadly the picture they have on wookieepedia is....meh...

I just wanted to let you know that I have no problem with someone making a request for a certain creature Triss. The only reason this was moved was because it's to open ended, allowing for many artists to take it. If I leave it in the Request forum, and someone makes one creature for it, it technically goes to taken, and then finished...
Putting it here will allow anyone who wants to make one of these, the latitude to do it, and then somone else may decide to do it as well. So, Triss, feel free to make a request for your Bha'lir, I'd love to see someone take it on :)

hehe not at all ^_^ In fact I just got it up....Ive been debating doing this request (and another) for months now honestly just never really got down to doing it...
