Okay, so here's my idea for this request.
Instead of three figures I thought; how about two and the tattoo emblazoned in the background?
I haven't done the tattoo yet, but will upload it when I'm done, and if you like where this is going.
The request is HERE

And here's the tattoo...
Okay - Here's how I see them coming together. You do lose a bit of the Tattoo, but, what ya gonna do?
I may extend the canvas and move it later.
Colour next...
Truely amazing! The outfits and tattoo are excellent. "V" should really love this piece.
LC ;)
Those are really cool mercy! I love the tattoo!
Outstanding this is by far my favorite of yours so far!
No offence but your regular charicters are too skiny (I understand it is a stylistic thing but it's not for me)
The tat is great too, i was unsure how it would come out but it looks perfect, just like it belongs on somebodys skin.
Thanks, guys!
Yeah, the request called for a slightly more 'buff' lady and I figure it's about time I got away from the willowy women a bit anyway...
Tell you what, though, it's nice to see guys are not so impressed with the 'skinny as a rake' girls any more! I salute you all!
P.S. I will eventually get around to colouring it up - promise...
Amazing, truely great work!
Wow! I am impressed!
I could be a bit biased by the fact it's one of my characters, but I think it's one of your best yet. I'm glad she didn't turn out real skinny too (I mean, she is skinny here, but she's not a twig). I didn't have a firm idea on what the tattoo would look like, just having the idea of a katarn, but what you came up with is brilliant.
Awesome job! Well done!
Thank you very much.
Mercy,
Hey this piece is coming along great! Top notch stuff there. If I could make a stylistic observation...
Your pencil lines are friggen amazing!, I'm not so hot on the "cleaned up" version in comparison. Maybe colors will make it all ok, but I REALLY love those pencil lines.
Eclipse
Thanks, Eclipse. I'll try another one keeping true to the pencil lines - I did that on the Derrin Blackwater request, I think, though I wasn't terribly pleased with the end result. May be worth revisiting as a style change...
Anyway!
Here's the colour version. I think it's about done, unless people have suggestions.
Glad you like the pikkie so far, Vicious. Hope the finished one is up to expectations!
~ Mercy.
LOVE the color version! You've exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure the colored version could be much better than the previous versions, I was so impressed with what you had come up with so far. I really like the color version. It helps keep the color scheme I had chosen for her more in mind.
Thank you very very much. I've posted a copy on my wiki, with appropriate credit. I need to figure out a way to put a better plug in there for you other than just a simple credit.
Rich
Vicious,
What would be great is if you actually put a link into her gallery here with the credit. Also a link to SWAG in general would not be amiss. :-D
Mercy,
Erm... wow... What's it look like w/o the line work? To my eye it looks like you're pretty darn close to being able to go lineless with this one. Just a thought. Still I think it turned out amazing! Good work.
Eclipse
Thanks all! Glad you like it!
Yeah - thats the big step for me that I've not quite managed yet. I'm gonna have to try lineless eventually, but it's a big leap from what I'm used to...
Vicious, a link to the gallery and to SWAG would be great. Well, we wouldn't be here without it! Also, if you want a better quality pic just let me know and I'll email you one.
I'll go ahead and post this in the gallery.
Cheers!
~ Mercy.
Oooh, I like the colors! Nice! This is looking better all the time.

Okay, I don't know why this just bounced onto the recent blogs page - I just realised it was still listed as a 'Work In Progress' and changed it. Dammit all.
Mercy, yeah this was your WIP so leave it marked as such. :-) It's for historical reference.
Eclipse
right-oh. will do.
