For reference: the original request from Asok and some initial ideas.

IMAGE 1. Wrapping and stuffings and such finally done, here's where I'm starting with this. I've simplified the cyborg frame's legs and awning, set him in a summer palace of sorts, added some guards for scale, etc. Image size is very close to the actual resolution I'm working on to start things off -- just pretty much a thumbnail, working with big shapes, getting general forms and shadows to read right, establishing an initial color scheme. I'm expecting it to triple in size at least.

IMAGE 2. Tweaks to the overall layout, some color adjustment, yada yada.

IMAGE 3. Bumped it up to twice the resolution. Here's an excerpt showing part of the more detailed work at this stage.

Wow GitH,

As always the images you produce are top notch, even when they're just blobs of color... I wish my blobs of color looked like that! I'm really liking how the walker hunkers down lower to the ground, it's less imposing at first, but I think that fits really well. I'm loving the dusky color scheme you have going here. I'm so excited to see where this goes. :-)

Oh man Ghost I think I'm going to wet myself!! This is so cool!

PS Keep this a secret but I'm going to use it soon in an upcoming campaign...

Hey thanks, guys.

Yeah. Seems to be working. I actually started out with the longer legs (like from my initial sketches), but they just kept on visually overwhelming the main hutt body.

Eeep. I can stop posting the WIPs if you wan't Asok. Actually might not be a bad idea since it looks like we're on the right track.
